Brandon, a sweet and gentle giant, announces and greets every visitor to Yes! Marketing Group with a number of enthusiastic barks. When he's sure they're sufficiently welcomed, Branny returns to his window office to look out for the next visitors.

Brandon's first three years of life were spent in an Arkansas shelter until February 2007, when Almost Home Rescue of Hollis, Maine, transported him to Derry, New Hampshire, where he was adopted.

The day after Brandon arrived at his new home, however, he was allowed off leash. Still scared and confused after enduring a four-day transport in a truck with 100 fellow rescue dogs, he didn't know who he could trust, and immediately ran into the snowy woods.

Almost Home Rescue volunteers co-led by Lisa Perkins, coordinated a search party and scoured the Greater Derry area for three brutally cold and blizzardy weeks, tracking sightings and baiting Brandon's favorite haunts. Finally, they trapped the hungry boy in a giant Havahart humane trap generously lent by local shelters.

Lisa and Sheldon created Brandon's Web site to tell his story and provide updates of his new life for all who cared so much about him and worked so hard to return him to safety.

Brandon, now Director of Humane Resources at Yes! Marketing Group, is dedicated to helping other animals who need to be rescued from homelessness, abuse, and neglect. He scouts for graphic designers, writers, and web developers who want to volunteer their time and skill to the cause. Please email Brandon if you would like to pitch in on this front.
